high idle speed issue
@Jeff G 78 I think he runs both on his race car? I have not built mine yet but I will use both on my e31 head with a Schneider cam kit. I have turbo pumps on both my Zs and they flood the valvetrain when I spun the pump with a drill before 1st start up. I read a lot of post with people using both with the higher volume pump. Actuall my 9/76 has both on the early n47 head from Nissan. That came looked great in 2011 when I bought the car. That's from '76 to 2011 without the turbo pump. At idle it barely moved the needle on the gauge. With a turbo Melling pump it sits halfway then I installed a new head with just internal oiling cam. Now it's 3/4 gauge at idle. My spray bar 240 with the turbo pump pegs the needle at idle. the melling 152 is the turbo pump. Cost me $60 8 years ago from Advance Auto.

Front SU Carb pulling in a TON more air than the rear - Help...
Following up. That bookmark "suffered a critical failure" so no good anymore. It was some English car parts site for Austin Healeys and MGs. Did a quick search, ztherapy comes up 1st. They're out there. Good luck. https://www.google.com/search?rls=ig&ei=A0kUX4TWONXA1QGd_ZToBQ&q=hitachi+su+carburetor+throttle+shafts+&oq=hitachi+su+carburetor+throttle+shafts+&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQAzIICCEQFhAdEB4yCAghEBYQHRAeOgQIABBHOgIIADoFCAAQzQI6BAghEAo6BQghEKABOgUIIRCrAlCmMViMhwFgxp4BaABwAXgAgAF8iAHzDZIBBDIwLjGYAQCgAQGqAQdnd3Mtd2l6&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwjE44C5tNnqAhVVYDUKHZ0-BV0Q4dUDCAw&uact=5

What does natural selection do on ignorance? I'm on the spectrum. Oh boy, oh no, oh man... I'm waiting on the first picture of a disposable mask around a turtles neck.

78 280Z - no injector pulse
I remember Virto. Had a red 2+2 280. Honestly most people read from the last post in a thread by clicking on the date at the bottom. I know I do. Unfortunately we miss the original problem. I agree, it's best to start a new one with your specifics. Is that a tree trunk or a real elephant? Cool picture no matter what.

COVID-19
We all have this supposedly. What if a it's a part A so far, part B's is coming later? Russia and otjers are trying to take away vaccination trials. They sale vaccine at $5,000 a dose. Yearly at least? What if... Some Dr Evil stuff right there.

280Z AFM troubleshooting / Running rich.
If it looks like it's been opened I'd pop the black cover off and make sure that weighted sweeper vane is freed up and moving nice and smoothe. Maybe clean the contact pad too. Check the tps also. It could be stuck on the wide open side. The multi meter guys will be all over this, you've actually done something.

What I Did Today
That's a picture of a picture taken in March or April 1992 the very first time I took it out on the water, so it was "back in the summer of '92". It was a little cold still, we are wearing long sleeve shirts, but I'd just bought it and had to see what I got for $4,000. One of my favorite days, one of her worst. You see she wanted to get married but I said we were too young and didn't have the money. So I go and buy that boat. She was pissed. That's a stock 2.4 liter Mariner, 150 HP. Mariners were Mercury's way of selling the same motor at competing dealerships back then. Now they are only sold outside the United States but the same motor still. That would run about 75 mph at 6,500 rpm, just enough to get excited. Not fast but almost. Then I bought a 2.5 Mercury 200 horse. It was scary fast, like "stop this damn boat and let me out" fast. The speedometers on boats are not very accurate but a friend's brother bought the first portable GPS I'd ever seen. It was $3,000 in 1995. With that I got it up to 101 mph one evening when the water was slick and I was wasted. 24 pitch prop would turn 8,500 rpm in a quarter mile, my top end prop was a 28 pitch. I could turn it 8,200. Lots of fun back then until all the jet skis covered the water. I sold it for $7,500 and bought a Suzuki 750 gsxr.

I feel the same Mark. If I was in my 20s and our bars were closed I just can't imagine the DUIs I'd rack up. Thanks to testosterone, lack of, I'm able to be safer at home now days.

What I Did Today
It's horrible! I'm getting older and more of a comfort seeker. 25 years ago I'd be out on the lake all day on my boat, drinking beers and what not.

Sealing an oil pan
This is a '79 F54 ZX pan and backers. Looks like the 3rd in CO's box. But mine has an extension on the top towards the rear. It was a 2+2 ZX if that scratches your itch a little more.

COVID-19
These backwards arse idiots in Alabama won't wear mask until 5pm this evening, Guuvner Ivey's order starts then. Like Walmart's order to take effect the 20th. The virus won't be contagious until those deadlines. Dead lines, literally at walmart.

No, just an exhaust leak which may cause hotter fuel rail, "heat soak". @S30Driver again to the rescue!

Yoshihiko Matsuo
Is he the guy that spoke at the awards dinner in Memphis? I think Eiji translated for him. I remember some good laughs from the crowd as he spoke and a lot of clapping when he left the podium.

These bullet connections are what @S30Driver is speaking of, not the ones on the housing. Hope this helps.
