    Peach! Squawk peach! Sqwauk, Sqwauk.
  2. Usr anti-seize lube too. It'll help future corrosion and rust when snd if you remove them. They won't snap off at the heads.
  3. Somebody's got to do it. Keeps us all in check and all on present times. I agree with some past post. There's an artificial price uptick that's gonna fall. I remember someone speaking of the "dead cat bounce"?
  4. I have a grey squirrel in the front of my pants according to my girlfriend. That squirrel you see just got lead poisoning, he'll not be with us too much longer.
  5. You could try taking them off and sanding, filing or someway removing the burnt layer of the shoes. You most likely have overheated the rears by pulling the E-brake up and locking in all that heat after a spirited drive. Unless you are on a hill I suggest not using the E-brake.
  6. I'm sorry, your right. Tom Monroe's book that I've used more than once says 61 ft. Lbs.
  7. Damn! That looks great. Maybe crimp your wires tighter on both ends, plugs and dizzy cap. Use dielectric grease too on all connections.
  8. I'm sorry, I haven't read that. More members will chime im.. @240260280 just did! Oops, he commented on another post. Wait for it...

    Better than duct-tape!
  10. I don't. No need in my opinion. Once you get that 80lbs they stretch, the gasket is set too. Don't mess with that I say.
  11. An intelligent man with more time than most and an internet connections. Woof! I'm glad you and I are friends. Thanks Ms. Mark.

  13. Here's the one I remember, it's a long thread but full of information.
  14. It seems like my 280 did that when the booster went bad. Do your RPMs fluctuate any when fully depressed? If they go up your booster may have a vacuum leak.

You have the earlier Truckster. Here's the later one. Notice that covered taller piece of luggage up top? That's Aunt Edna. And just for giggles here another later one...
  16. It's owned by and run by the Illuminati.
  17. Optional? They should all be shared. I'm not liking BAT so much now. Hiding the truth, comments from people that know. The price hasn't risen from what I can tell since the knowledgeable folks started picking this car apart. Has anybody linked this thread in BATs comments? How long would that stay up? Not too long.
  18. Thank you. I had know idea as I read from the bottom up.
  19. "asking for a friend" pas·sive-ag·gres·sive adjective of or denoting a type of behavior or personality characterized by indirect resistance to the demands of others and an avoidance of direct confrontation, as in procrastinating, pouting, or misplacing important materials.

My Mom had a Pontiac Catalina when I first had memory. And my memory was :this is a huge car". We called it the "kitty cat". She always threatened to put me in the trunk when I wouldn't shut up with my questions. But why? Why? Why? Why? That makes no sense, WHY!!! Then "do as I say, not as I do". I love my dog.

Read over this. It's got some great info as well as pictures! Love pictures. I followed his instructions and have a '79 ZX dizzy in my 280. Works great with a little more advance. https://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/distributor/index.html Here's the whole electrical section. https://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/electrical.htm
  23. I googled the Pangborn guy, he died in 2010. Frigidaire wives...
  24. What's this say? I've never seen a rubber stamp that cancels a title but hey, it's me. Is it "surrender to Nevada"?
