im guessing i need to get the whole thing regrind or jusr the cam and go with some new stuff

under 70k but my brother did the ajustment on it while i was in iraq so he might have done something wrong when he went with factory specs from the fsm that i have it ticked really bad then he did some digging and found other specs that stoped it from ticking but it did have a slight whin to it.

everything is bone stock it dose look jacked up when you are looking at it but its smooth ive taken the oil off of it and same thing the cam i think is my main issue.

it looks that way but its not like the cam i can't feel it with my nail or finger im guessing im going to want new rockers and pads.

well good thing you said something about putting them back where they went ill have to match wear patterns. but ok that takes that option out just wanted to know if i could do it im about to take some pics. slight as in i can feel it with my nail im going to come back with pics. i do need to ajust them they are all out of wack now. i really thought the thing was blown now if i can find someone to do a grind is that recomended?

well last night my rocker arms fell off and the cam has a slight scar on it i have a couple of questions. 1 dose the slight scar matter and if so what do i do? 2 i have 2 heads e88 and i have a n47 on the car its a 78 280z im not sure if there is any gain from that or can i just switch cams from one of the other heads im not sure what to do? yea i have a lot of problems the trans is also not shifting right but i still have to trouble shoot it but any ideas or in put is welcomed. just got it back from the body shop what a weekend

yea the arm for more flexibility with blade choice that or im missing something to put the new style wiper blade on

they would think im something here on ft.hood. i just want to have more blade choice for the old z its a 78 by the way.

well i have one of these in my z and all i have to say is it adds a little something to the car i think its a very good product and it has worked ever since i put it in and i will say that the girls love it too

i had to expand them for the HID bulb the back was hitting but its ok a little grind and problem solved i installed the kit with no problem and its working great my lights are super bright now.

ok but now getting the connector out of the light bucket ill just have to expand the hole a bit.i wanna up grade this befor i do the wireing for the HID kit. i just wanna be safe so i dont burn anything out.

hey everybody im upgradeing my headlights 1 i cant find the the plug for the wire harness to go to. trying to find out if i need to splice it in.2 im putting in a hid kit in and if i even need to put it in for that any help is much appreated. ill put up pics of the new lights soon.

i need to know if anyone has the panel that goes behind the bumper for a 1978 280z the only one i have found is more for a 240z set up from msa black dragon dose not carry that part. my z was his early last week in the back and im really trying to save it from a salvage title any info will help i have found none in central texas. thanks all i always get the best info here on czc.

ok i have to find out how to install a type 3 rear bumper for the body shop thats doing my car. it was rear ended 3 days ago and the body shop is hooking me up with a type 3 rear kit to match the front and i wanna figure out how to install it so ill be able to get it on and off easy well as easy as i can. so if i can get some guidence for this. pics would be amazing if any body has some then ill have to figure out my muffler issue i have a 4 inch magnaflow stright through.

i think its all in what you put in your exhaust that depends on the sound. me i have a 6-1 header and 2.5 pipe and a non carb legal cat and a magna flow muffler. i have to say i get comments on the sound all the time it has a nice rumble to it and its not to ricey. im just gonna say its all in how you set it up pipe it and what you use in it i.e muffler and cat wise. just my 2 cents.
