1977 280z Light Restoration Project
The rust below the window trim actually starts up under the window trim. It then travels down lifting the paint as it goes. You really need to remove the window trim and sand down the rusty area as far as you can. Neutralize the rust then use a little primer, then touch up paint

If you have lots of mods the stock ECU won't work. You will have to move to an aftermarket EFI system

The plug, if it has the inverted square drive is a solid piece. So you can't snap it like a bolt. Now if the square drive doesn't fit close enough then you might could strip it but I doubt it. The cover I was working on was loose and I couldn't hold it still enough for a breaker bar. I resorted to the impact and it came right out. No problem

I couldn't get one out recently and used a 1/2" drive impact gun to remove it directly.

Is the Chevron a right hand drive car? It looks like he is on the near side of the car. If he is on the right side, maybe he has a limited view of Morton coming up on him and maybe he is giving himself more room from the stricken car because he doesn't have as clear a view from the other side of the car.

No, it's not a formation lap, but these are vintage cars and there is always some courtesy involved in this type of racing. You don't normally start running tight lines until the field stretches out some. He should have know the 46 was on his inside but he took the short line. Every one else got around the stopped car on the inside, many of them two wide. The Daytona actually runs really close to it, could have probably been three wide there. There is really no money in this racing, just adventure and bragging rights. That seems like a silly reason to run so hard you tear up a bunch or historic cars...

L28 full rebuild assembly
Did you hone the block or bore it? I don't remember. CO's recommendation on measuring at the bottom of the bore might help. Are the bores with in spec? You really need a bore mic to check this. If the bores are with in spec then I would probably move forward.
