ok thank gary and grant i will try those things first. and ill see what other testing i could do before changing the battery...

hey gary, marco, and shade. i just changed the starter. and i had the battery charged up full. and my car stil does not start. when i turn the key interior lights will light up. just when i turn the ignition key then a "tick" sound will be heard once and thats it. i really wnna make this car run.

hesy guys i need help my 260z 2+2 has a sound when ever it start. so i think it has a problem with the starter. is there anything that i could do? help me. thanks.

HEY SUP ALL. I JUST GOT A 1974 260z 2+2. IT IS A RUNNING CAR, ALL ORIGINAL PARTS. I JUST WNNA KEEP IT THAT WAY UNTIL I GET A 240z TO FIX UP. I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS MY FIRST Z CAR. TODAY I DRIVE MY ACURA RSX. BUT ON THE WEEKENDS I AM PLANNING TO DRIVE MY Z AROUNF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. I ALSO WANT TO LEARN FROM YOU ALL ON HOW I CAN MAINTAIN MY CAR IN ITS ORIGINAL STOCK FORM. BUT IN A FEW YEARS ILL BE FIXING UP A 240z AFTER MY 260z.
