Another unfinished project for sale in WA
I was pondering this very topic at work today. In the NW we seem to have two paths cars go down. 1) is they are stored in a garage because it is so wet and rainy here. Thus we end up with cars in good shape just unfinished projects such as this one. 2) they are stored outside and end up rust buckets, like the cars I have found and parted. It's funny I hardly ever see Z's driving around, at least in my neck of the woods. Although I do see a lot of ad's for them on CL and Offer Up. Mine was a Portland car I bought in Vancouver WA. There was a smashed 72 in the JY about the same time I bought mine, that was a local Centralia Car. Al's City Motors (Ford's and Datsun's)

'72 $3,000
I did see this one this morning, I just didn't have time to contact the seller. Tacoma is not that far from me. Looks to be sold now. Hope it went to a member. When I first saw the ad, there was no price, he wanted to trade for a few select cars. I figured he would be higher than $3K

Looking for a radiator
My recent purchase was from a Hybrids member near Seattle. He is moving and didn't have the time to list everything separate. I picked a junkyard 240Z that was on CL recently too. I was thinking about $125 shipped (shipping to LA area was about $40 in a well packed box)

Looking for a radiator
I just picked up this nice looking radiator in a parts buy. If you are looking for used, a few dings in the front fins. It is a APDI 8010634, and seems to be a very common parts store or online replacement, 3 core 75-78 @$200 + if you are looking for a new one.

Some new pics posted, someone bought the fenders and the radiator. The wheels were gone before I got there. A shame they just drop it on the ground like that. Extra suspension parts in the back and the door glass too.

I has the early grill, look at the length of the fins, it has 4 long and 3 short. There were a number of parts on this car that were early, like the inner tail light panel, and the steering wheel. There are 280 parts in the back as well. kind of a mix mash up.

It is sad to see them like this, funny how we end up with two cars that were built by the same people on the same day perhaps. Now 44 years later, siblings in cyberspace, in very different shape.

No face plate. I thought about the radio I didn't have the $ to get it. I was expecting it to be picked over having been on CL for 2 days. These don't last long in the yards. I posted this so other members know about it and can get in on it. That was the main focus for my trek there. An early 70 solid spoke. I did get it.

This popped up on CL last week, went out and bought some pieces. It is pretty rough body wise, it has Weber's on it. and some extra suspension pieces in the back. Now we know the fate of HLS30-167421 https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/d/1973-nissan-240-parting-out/6523470021.html 73 Puyallup.pdf

1970 240Z on eBay with Low VIN?
The cable hooks to a small metal tab at the very top of the throttle pedal assy. It is a flexible cable not a ridged one like the chokes. They were supposed to be removed at the point on entry (dock yard) or at the dealership "pre" sale. Perhaps the dealer just cut or removed the cable.
