Awesome show James and Ivan, I enjoyed every second of it! Honestly, this was probably the most fun I've had at a car show. No judging/award BS. Great location, nice weather, and a lot of awesome people to hang out with!

BTW, what was the fix for the right tail light?

When measuring voltage at the power feed to the tail lights, where are you putting the negative terminal of your multimeter to? It sounds to me like you have an open circuit in your left tail light, i.e. a bad ground. However, you say that the turn signals work on the left tail light, which suggests the ground is OK. Are the bulbs correct? Strange...

Clutches and flywheels
My suggestion would be to first make 100% sure that the clutch is slipping. No point of replacing it if it works fine.

Datsun Competition Steering Wheel Available for Z car and Nissan Skyline!
Nice Glenn, that would be great if you could. I remember seeing it at the tuning day and just then realizing that they're definitely smaller than a stock wheel. The Momo in the orange car is 350mm so I wouldn't have an issue with putting a 350mm into the green one. Thanks!

Datsun Competition Steering Wheel Available for Z car and Nissan Skyline!
I'm trying to hold-off but don't know how long I can last... I was planning to throw my money at machine work and AN fittings, but man is this enticing. Hopefully the supply is still there when I'm ready.

Datsun Competition Steering Wheel Available for Z car and Nissan Skyline!
I'm curious about the same dimensions: dish and outer diameter. Really considering blowing some money on this wheel... EDIT: is the rim material vinyl or leather?

Cool video, I like the owner's attitude. The 240 looked like a handful out there! I think he had plenty of brake, just not enough traction.

They're very simple to work on, but definitely not a good car to have for the mechanically dis-interested.

short circuit
Good job! You never know, maybe it'll help the next guy. It's always nice to hear the solution, even if it's from a silly mistake. Besides, the worst that can happen is that we taunt you a wee little bit.

1978 280Z 2+2 Cylinder Head Removal
E31, E88, N42, P90 have square exhaust ports. N47, P79 have round exhaust ports (liners). Thus, exhaust manifolds interchange between the N47 and P79, but not the rest. Again, buy an N47 head. It's the cheapest and easiest route.
