  1. and no tail lights with the headlights on. I have high and low beams, turn signals and brake lights. Fuses and bulbs are all good. What is the best way to track the problem down? Also, the hazard flashers only work when the ignition is on. Shouldn't they work with the ignition off? 1970 #4095 Mike

Anyone know if their was a gray or grayish color on the early Zs? 1970 through 1973? If so, do you know the color code? Thanks,, Mike
  4. No slant, straight up, one-piece badge. Weird. I will be going back to the original badging. Mike
  5. Someone must have removed the badges for the lower right side. The 'DATSUN' badge on the lower left is block letters about 1" tall. I need to take the inside trim off and see what's up. BTW, for some reason, I cannot see thumbnail picture attachments. Use to, but not any more. Mike
  6. The hatch on my 1970 #4095, has the two vents under the window but only has a Datsun badge on the lower left edge of the hatch. There is no angled Datsun or 240Z badges on the right side. What have I got here??? Mike
  7. Chill Arne, Socal is a big place..........
  8. This guy is not in the Inland Empire, is he?? Mike
  9. Google: waxoyl...cheers! Mike
  10. Arne, don't be so hard on the 'B'. I have a blast with mine and I can put the top down..... Gary, 'B's are out there, just as with the 'Z', look out for rust, especially in the sills. ChrisZ, PM me regarding interior parts. Some of the plastic is good, vinyl trim is pretty good and would clean up. Mike
  11. Thanks guys. When I restored my MGB, it was bronze yellow. 240s had the same color, sort of a butterscotch orange. Anyway, I went with a Mazda color call galaxy gray mica. It brought the car into the 21st century. I think my 'Z' would look good in this color too. BTW, I am ditching the butterscotch interior for black also.
  12. I have a 1970 Z that was originally 907 Green. PDO painted it white. I am going to have the car blasted and repainted. I am torn between keeping this early car (4095) original or change to a modern color, i.e., platinum gray micas or metallic. Opinions wanted. Will it drastically devalue the car? I was leaning toward original, but every green car I see, seems to look dirty. Mike
  13. Thanks. Any idea how much negative camber results from lowering with the kit I mentioned? I guess increased inside tire wear is an issue. Mike
  14. Does anyone have experience with using the aluminum offset rear bushings after lowering their car? Are they necessary? Does the camber need to be adjusted? I am lowering my car with the Tokico/Lumina kit. My car is a 1970 Z Mike
  15. Alright Dave! Look forward to getting it. Man you are patient. Having the thing made is probably less of a PITA than dealing with us customers;) mike
  16. Dave, Sent $ through PayPal, don't see my name on the list..... Mike
  17. I am in. Need one for my 1970. mbarjbar Mike Barrera Crap! Too late!!!
