I have two new windshield rubbers.... I have not checked on glass prices localy. The reason I'm asking is that I saw a glass polishing kit on Eastwood's web site for $39.00 or close to it. I do have access to a 1500 rpm polisher at my dad's body shop to do it with, but wanted to know if I was going to waste my time/money. any thoughts? - Jeff

My 1972 240z has the original windshield in it. When the sun shines it looks cloudy. I think it is sand/dirt pitted. Has anyone used the windshield polishing kit from Eastwood ? Or any other polish for that matter. - Jeff

Also watch the indents/dots on the chain that correspond with the ones on the cam sprocket and the crank gear.... But if you do the procdure that is in the FSM you will not need the marks on the chain at the crankshaft end . - Jeff

  11. Is the Windshield Glass from 1970 to 1978 interchangable? I have the original glass from 1972 in the garage. It is quite pitted from the years. My car will be out of the paint booth in a week or so. I need to know if I need to buy glass for a 1972 or can I get any one from '70 - '78 ? -Jeff

"SEAT-OF-THE-PANTS" Dyno ..... The power gains from the S-O-P Dyno is solely measured by the owner / purchaser of the components ( this case the header ). The POWER gain rises sharply on the graph in accordance to the height of the price of said components. You get the idea .... - Hows that grab ya by the pants ?? - Jeff

To notch the E88 head for the injectors use a colored grease or spotting die. Smear it on the intake manifold face and slide it on the mounting studs to "spot" the intake face shape on the head. Scribe the injector area with something sharp as not to lose that shape and be able to wipe the grease/spotting die off before working. See the fuel injected head for the notch angle. Good luck - you should do fine. - Jeff

I'm not sure 8 blades will move more air or not .. but it makes for a quieter fan. It may take more power to turn it though. - Jeff

I would port the N42 head if you really want one ported. It has the bigger valves as ED mentioned - with bigger valves and porting it will flow better ( In & Out ) than the E88 ever would. - Jeff
