  1. I'm not sure about the Elite 750. I am using the Elite 2500 and when you tell the tuning software what specific sensors you are using, The software generates a wiring diagram. I'll step back as I don't know the specifics of the Elite 750.
  2. That non-terminated harness is what I am using as well. I think any diagram is highly dependent on what sensors you use. Besides, the Haltech software creates a diagram for you...
  3. Ondagrass!
  4. BRE Replica
  5. One I’ve never seen of PLN...
  6. It does look as if it might work. My objection to GRW has always been their logo stamped into everything.
  7. Here’s something a little different...
  8. Ok, coils came in. Another thing I have to create something in order to use. These are the AEM 103mJ coils that were developed by AEM Performance Electronics and Haltech. The ones Duffy is using are not quite as hot but very close and probably not worth the difference for me to go with these but I can't find a mount for his and these are off the shelf at Summit and they are sort of local. I'm by Tahoe and they are in Reno and since we do all our shopping in Reno... I have to design and create a mount for these, If you want to use the same coils, let me know and I will make extra. Not free but you will have a lot less hassle. These are about $75 each? Less with my military discount.
  9. View Advert ITM Flat top pistons L28E in stock size I'm selling these new ITM pistons at a bit more than I paid for them but considering they are no longer available, probably less than I could ask for them. They are flat top in stock 280Z size. This will raise your compression and the L28 likes compression! I bought these to build a stock L28 with compression but got sucked into the Rebello Stroker world! These will ship from just East of Reno close to Tahoe on your dime. I will take Paypal or? 10. My wife read these comments and has decided she is the little warrior in Mulan... oh, and I’d did have to take her patient to the damned dentist!
  11. Well, that will hold up progress. This morning, my wife woke me up about 7am and asked me if I could take one of her care home patients around to their appointments today. I said "no, not unless you sing me Disney Princess Showtunes." I then fell back to sleep thinking I had successfully warded off that duty. A few minutes later, she woke me again singing "It's a whole new world..." I forgot she is friends with the singer who sang it for the movie and sings it on Broadway, Lea Solonga... Well, my day is shot.
  12. I have edited this list to reflect the actual License Plate Light I used. It is a 67-W15. This bulb is 1/10th of an inch shorter than the 67W that SuperbrightLED's originally suggested and therefore fits in my housing. My housing may be aftermarket or from a later Z. It has two bulbs where the SuperbrightLED site says I need one. IIRC I had a bit of sun damage to my original housing so bought a new one when they were still available. So, check yours to see if you need one bulb or two. I am sure the 67-W15 will work in either housing.
  13. It’s certainly been an interesting couple of months!
  14. Yes, I removed bunches of spot welds with my 914 build. It takes a delicate touch to remove the weld without penetrating the metal behind it. I did do some actual work yesterday. One of my wife’s care home patients is a young woman with a bit of a developmental delay. My wife brought her home because she was bored and tends to cause trouble when she is bored. She came out and helped me do some garage cleanup. Then, I started bleeding from the nose and had to go to the ER. Fun times...
  15. I’m committed now! I haven’t proven anything works though.
  16. I forgot to post these when I took them. In my defense, Yarb has kept me busy helping him spend his retirement savings on a big arse turbo! (Seriously, don’t know what decisions he is making...) This is the pivot for the throttle linkage coming off the firewall next to the brake booster. First, I sawzall’d the thing in half so I could get a drill with a spot weld bit on it. Then, I took a sharp tool to the pivot and removed its carcass from the firewall. Then, I took a DA to the firewall and primed and repainted the spot. It looks better than this now as I sanded out my runs and recoated it.
  17. Hypothetically speaking, if @Yarb were to tell you that I couldn't figure out why my cruise control wouldn't work in my truck and it turned out that I hadn't turned on the cruise control? I would deny it. It never happened! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
