'A Fuel-injected Investment' and 'Identified Datsun Flying Object'
Did you see the one with the police car chase? A girl in a 280Z is being chased down a country road while a police car and a mysterious plane chases, the plane drops a bomb in front of the 280Z and the girl panics, swerving and stopping the car, blocking the road. Then the police car clips the front of a 280Z!:mad::devious:

Helmet BIGness
I saw a few people carrying full-faced helmets at the ZCON driver's meeting at the hotel, and they seem to look smaller than my open-face helmet. Is that about right? Maybe they just had smaller size helmets (Mine is XL.) I need to sit low while driving autocross, because I was hitting the headliner. thxZ

Top 15 reasons to get your Butt to a ZCCA Convention!
Jeff- If there's a regional meet in the area, then I'll put the word out. It's always on Fri-Sun, with the car show on Saturday. The lasttime we had it in Akron. thxZ

Top 15 reasons to get your Butt to a ZCCA Convention!
I'm trying to digest all the literature in the goodie bag, sort the stuff, and re-assemble my cars, so it will take me a few days before I can straighten out what all happened during the week. A layover day mid-week would have been nice to just hang out with people and recharge from the late nites & 5am revellies. But for now, I"ll say it was a blast. Will- You knew I was there (somewhere) so all you had to do was stop somebody in the blue team shirt & say "where's Tom?" But at least you did run into me eventually. Chris- I did put on a TomoHawk sticker on my name badge Friday morning, but I got into trouble and had to remove it. :disappoin I finally figured out something that didn't go as planned: We wanted a full-size Nissan vehicle for Yoichi-san to transport the dignitaries to & from the Hotel & airport, but the rental car agencies 'can't guarantee make & model.' thxZ

Cleveland RockZ National Convention
It was a blast. I don't tink I would say the weather on Tuesday (car show day) was horrible, but it is the kind of thing that will keep people talking about it for a while. And the ironic thing is that the weather yesterday & today ( Friday & Saturday) would have been perfect for the convention and sightseeing- except for the FL and TX people! I recently put a lot of effort & sone money into the windscreen wiper system, and I'm glad I did. Otherwise I would've been grounded to driving only during the day, on the nicer days. I don't think there is anything that you could say was bad, or needed improvement, like if the registration system was being consistently botched (which it wasn't) but we have already discussed a few things we'd do a little differently in retrospect. Next time- I'd like to win the MegaLotto first. Then we'd hire everything out to some pros and the convention would be totally free, including lodging, for everyone that signs up! thxZ

2008 Int'l Convention Sep 28 - Oct 3
The photographs can be viewed online at billgerberphotography and you can order enlargements there online. Give him a few days to go through the thousands of photos taken, to sort and upload. You can also get the DVD (I believe there are about 4000 or 5000 photos on it) when it becomes available through the clevelandrockZ.com website, IIRC. Give that a few days too; the people putting on the show need to catch up on sleep, kids and personal/business stuff. I'll try to post a link to the DVD ordering stuff when it's available. thxZ! to everybody that attended, even those that were there only for the car show... If you left early, you did miss all the rest of things, but O- L... Let's see if the Texas crew can meet the challenge next year... thxZ

Cleveland RockZ National Convention
It was a pleasure meeting you and the others (too many to remember!) and to see some nice cars. IMO, the people that really do make an event successful is the people that attend. Wthout those people, no amount of planning, sponsors, and good for & music can do it. (not Tomo- I just look like him. )

Anyone going ZCCA Convention / Cleveland ?
the photographers are constantly taking photos during the day, as well as the more formal photos of the cars for print & purchase. I keep my camera with me to cover things and especially what you don't see (officially.) I believe that there will be a DVD for sale through the convention website (after the convention), and the photographers will have the photos for sale through their own means. thxZ

Anyone going ZCCA Convention / Cleveland ?
Yeah, apparently they change the internet codes on Sundays, so don't forget to get the new code to continue your service. I've been there since Friday! We have been in a closed room assembling things, and today (Saturday) We were setting up the registration & "Z-store" room. I will be there early Sunday & all week, except for the speed events. If you can, park in the spaces along the street, so the ordinary people will stop parking there, and we can take over that good area. Pass the word... thxZ
