what is Nissan coming to??
I drive a Ford. I drive it just about every day (except Thursdays when I don't drive a car at all.) So does everyone on my family, except my mom who has a Lincoln. Even my ancestors drove Fords- they even worked for Mr. Ford. I happen to have an antique sportscar that is from Japan- the Japan that was before they ruined the American ecoonomy. I only drive that car a couple times a week. I will never buy a new Asian car, and I have sent many emails and a few letters to the domestic auto makers to start making or purchasing every last part from domestic producers. thxZ

Just wait until they start flipping over daily, because somebody thinks it can go 80 on the freeway, and cut somebody off changing lanes to make the exit at the last second....

It's ugly, and so is the Honda cube-thing. It probably gets about 0 MPG too. That's why I always buy American. They are better-looking than any Asian thing. I support the AMERICAN economy, not the Asian economy. thxZ

Any luck yet? I don't have anything like it in my database.

Happy Finals week, here's a broken window!
Last summer, there was a trail of broken windows you could follow across the neighborhood. It sounds like the school kids are out and they need something productive to do. It's really too bad that many communities don't have a summer sports program that kids want to be in. They prefer to run in gangs and end up doing stuff like that.

engine rebuild tutorials
The two books seem to cover only the mechanicals/carburetted engines? What is there for the fuel-injected engines? thxZ

window lubricant?
Buggies had drum brakes too. The modern ones do.

Reproduction Braided radiator hoses
I'm not -that- interested in making my car like the 240s. I'm pretty sure the 280Z had regular rubber hoses, so I'd just use some of the polyester braid if I went that route. Plus, I've been replating my OE hose clamps. I wouldn't mind a few new ones to replace the band-clamps and have all the hose claps of the same kind thxZ

Reproduction Braided radiator hoses
You mean like $65 or so for just the one hose, or a set? including the clamps? thxZ

Rice Season 2009
adam, They all had basically the same things on it, but were designed differently, like the three I posted in #1. I may make an attempt at making a few of my own for things like a riced-up garden tractor, convertibles, or you can suggest one. It would be nice to see some new catagories, maybe something involving or loud stereos or subwoofers. thxZ

Door lock mechanism
If it's the right spring, get three or four, and keep the spares for a buddy. We gotta stock up on spare everything since stuff is getting harder to find. thxZ

Rice Season 2009
I picked three random pictures. There are all the same stuff to me.

Rice Season 2009
There are no judgment implied, involved or required. Perhaps you can explain what your last comment means? It is simply a sample of some ricer tickets. You boys in south CA might have a few Mex-mobiles around, so a ticket is provided. I have a bunch of different tickets in the collection, including one for a riced tractor for the boys in the midwest U.S.A.

Rice Season 2009
It must be summer and rice season out on the streets. I've seen 4 last weekend already, an they definitely weren't obeying the speed limit. I-90 is the highway number, not the speed limit! I've attached a few ricer tickets for you to print up and hand out to those that deserve infractions. thxZ

It will be interesting if you can find what you were referring to. I think you could do with a few flash drives or a stack of CD-R disks to store stuff... :classic:

replacement console lid
I made a cover from MDF and attached some squishy-foam to it, and some felt to cover. At least I have something temporary to rest my elbow on.
