Hi Guys...just got a 1980 Datsun 280ZX 10AE #1569.The PO Hug a light pole but walked a way fine. Rebuilt engine 2000 miles ago and he bought a Oil filter to change the oil but things went south on him. Tried to turn the engine but no go and the block cracked from the tranny side.I think the Crankshaft moved back from the impact.. Lot of very good interio and some exterior parts in the Z. The good news is that I don't have to drop the tranny...find out that it was an easy fix....replaced both the clutch master and the slave and I am in business again..... Picked up the bumpers from the Chrome shop..... They will go in this after noon......Also need to finish my triple swap I am half way to start the C110 and tune. Here is a picture when I put everything togather...... Stii working on the carbs and the fuel lines,am waiting on the last part witch is the regulator.....I am not sure to go with return fuel line or just with the third carb line blocked!!Also waiting on the third filter to arrive....I have the Brake master cylinder blocking the long filter so I ordered a 2.25" filter so I can squeeze it there. Also I just got me a Big litter Nissan valve cover and Rear LED License Plate light ....they will go in tomorrow...

Headers in...

Time to assemble everything back.... New studs and Gasket,wrapped headers and just got my Carter Fuel Pump with the pressure gauge. The intake and carbs will go in tomorrow.

Test fit my round port anti-reversion Headers and will grab a gasket for the Stainless steel collect pipe.

Me and a group of Datsuns & Skylines lovers tried to buy these cars....Police refused to sell even parts. They are going to crush them all. They don't want even to talk about it.
