How is it?? The price is good, but how much body work does it need? If you have any pics please email me, or send my a private message.

If it is in good shape I would pay $2500-$3000. Of course if it is completely stripped (no interior) I would pay around $1500. I have had some trouble in the past getting all the interior pieces.
  3. That thing is awesome. Dang I wish I had a body.

I don't know if this is where this thread goes, but if anyone throughout FL has 240,260,280 with a good body please let me know. Have been looking for a few months and have a couple of leads, but thought I would try the power of the Z community before I jumped on them. I don't care if the motor is shot or if it even has one, I have plenty of blocks and motors parts at the house, just no good body.
  5. I bought two cars in the same condition that you are talking about for a total of $500. My plan was to build one out of the two. I got the motor and drivetrain done and then started on the body and realized how much work I had and how much I did not know. All I can say is good luck.
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome!!
  7. Good luck, I have been fairly lucky and only have had to wait a week longer with body shops. Is there any Z clubs in the Knoxville area. I grew up about an hour away in the Tri-Cities and am trying to move back up there?
  8. Hello everyone. Site is really cool, a lot like the mustang forum I am apart of. I am just getting back into Z cars. I grew up working on them and now am very actively searching for one. I know of a few in Mobile, AL, but I want to look a little longer to see if I can find a better deal. If anyone knows of any in Florida that don't need extensive body work please let me know. I can care less if it has a motor, just want a body that aint full of bondo or rust.
