Rally Clock ~ Clocks ~
Yo the First Of The Clocks Arrived! First one from my hookups This one is a 1 Knob Calender Version with numbers 00055. This one is used and not sure how to test it so if anybody know how to please let me know. I was told to hook it up to a 12 volt battery (maybe a car battery). Was running when it was yanked from a Z 432. Awaiting Reply from PM I sent to the First Person in Line and will work down the List as they come in from Japan when ready. No NOS ones were found at my Buddies Warehouse even though records show them in stock as of 8/86 but the company changed owners twice since then and record keeping got shotty along the way. He did search the building once completly all ready and doing so again just incase. P.S. It's a little shy More photos here. Look for Datsun Rally Callender Clock http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u280/Wingzr0/ ~Z~

This Z car's been abused....
wOw no doubt  That looks like it stepped out Japan :classic: . Looks like this Dark Blue and Black 4 door Toyota Cressida around the same year I saw in the parking at my job last night. Totally low to the ground and old lady taking care of looking clean, I was really impressed at the body lines of a clean simple design. Reminds me of the early 90's Subarus and Evos in downtown Tokyo :classic:

This Z car's been abused....
I agree it would make a properly raced out car to smack a Ricer with :hurt: and would definately have some class wit a Targa Top. Only thing it would need is a roll cage of some type for bracing then we can all light Wooden Torches and have a proper Witch Hunt and Burning for the guy responsible for the Total lack of respect for a Z. Or Stone him with the Rusted Steel Panels we'd replace to fix it. :bandit: :tapemouth :devious: :rambo: And Surf, I'd loan you my LSD jus so you could park in front this guys house and yell, "This is what your car should look like! ! !", and PEEL OUT proper ! That is if he's the one responsible :cheeky: ~Z~

Thyanx Guys for all the replies :classic: I think I decided to keep tha ANSA for my future Z. I was able to get the different style ANSA for a good price so I don't have to spend as much as i thought. Only thing is I thinks it's for a Fiat o something :cheeky: but it'll hook up to a Z jus the same. I'll post some pics when arrives in the mail to compare. Z Experts - Arne, Marty, Carl - This one is for you....
Actually I'm pretty sure you can find a place or company on the Net or in the phone book where you can send off one of your pieces and have that done. Their are companies that do specialize in that kind of stuff I believe cause a Guy I know who shops at my job works at UC Davis and does anylisis on soil samples for farming. Next time I see him I'll get his phone number and cantact info if you would like to talk to him. Since he works their at UC Davis I'm pretty sure he can do it for free or at least very cheap compared to what it might cost anyway. ~Z~

Hey, Just a thought I don't know who can do this (most likely a College University close to you) but you might wanna get a Chemical Anallysis Composite from a lab or something. You know, like they do on the CSI T.V. show to determine the Chemical make up of stuff. From that they can tell you exactly what kind of rubber it is. We used to do things similiar to that in highschool chem class but although nothing that elaborate considering the teacher already knew what the answer is ~Z~

Anyone know about R192 LSD's ?
Yo John thyanks tambien for tha info. You was right, the R192 won't fit in my R180. Heres a sample photo of a R180 LSD on the left and a R200 LSD on the right They are different shapes. Found 2 complete R180 diffs with 4.111 and 3.9 LSD's and a carrier gear for a 2way R180 LSD also, so Maybe I'll look into some of those too. Seem to be some pretty good gearing but some of those R192's are going for $2,500 to $3,000+ ..... OUCH :dead: :tapemouth ~Z~

70 LISTED on EBAY
Heres why. It rained ~maybe~ and I repeat ~maybe~ a total of 30 to 45 days this winter. Way most likely towards 30. Snows only in the mountings, no salt on the roads and the only bad place to be is on the ocean coast (San Francisco salty oecean air) or L.A. (acid rain). So yeah, we're Lucky The Sun does dry out rubber parts when it's like 114 degrees out here and steady 105's a month straight, but thats stuff cheap compared to body work  ~Z~

Yahoo japans CLEANEST.
yo You like that set up Huh? I was wandering the samething but missed it in the description so I went back and reread it. Far as I can tell it's a Takoashi. A qoute from the Ation Page, "All smut ten less exhaust sound from [takoashi] is the highest sound not to be confined into the interior." OK, the translater is wack. All ~smut ten less~ translates into All ~stainless~ exhaust sound from Takoashi and the sound can not be heard in the interrior of the car. Sometimes you just have to sum it up for yourself. Translatters are vague at times. Takoashi as far as I know is a JDM company that makes front pipes and down pipes for exhaust sytems but as for the muffler it's self I assume it's a Takoashi aslso. If not I have to say the muffler is a Trust Greddy type, it looks like their design but that style is very popular so it might be more than one company that makes it I never heard of Takoashi till today so I learned something NEW ! It does look Sic ^^ ~Z~

Bull Run rally
Yeha I saw the 1st episode I was highly impressed with some of the thought that went into this but the elimnation part is pretty Lame. You figure if someone is allways eliminated every week then pretty soon it will it will be a race between 2 cars. Or worse, 3 or 4 cars that are to far apart where no ones close to each other for head to head on the street competion like what you see now when theres 3 cars at a time trying to pass each other in traffic As far as paint on the cars go I thought about that too when I saw the F150 crash through wall as part of the competition. But you figure if you enter in a race of anykind other than a Street Race or casual Track Meet then you better plan on using the low grade stuff because things such as Guard Rails, Concreat Walls (ouch), and the dude diving in on the inside of your apex is gonna take paint. Or so I read in a article on selecting paint for either Street, Track or Show use. Track is cheap Street is whatever and Concurs is expensive So anyone entering Bull Run needs to grab a rattle can :cheeky: 2 for a buck at the Dollor Store, your choice of colors ! ~Z~

Car of tomorrow!??
HAAA HA HA HAAA HAAAA HAAAAAAAA  As for what you say 240ZX about Stock cars not being stock for sometime and us sleeping under rocks, , Like I said earlier they can make ANY STOCK (and I stress the word STOCK) CAR just as safe as the look alike stuff their using now with some basic enginering foresight. But now NASCAR's jus a name but the races are still fun to watch. But lately I've been watching Tennis and Serena Williams wagon draging, curve bouncin, voluptuous goodness :cheeky: Look at that serve technique! Pretty much though they snook it up on us with this gradual blandness of look alike racers somewhere during the 1980's. I think because they were using mag wheels they still considered themselfve's stock. But after that, Corporate took over.... Kelloggs and Lowes ~Z~

Should I sell my ANSA Resonator?
Awesome I wondered from time if anyone else had these. What's your desription of the sound it makes, haven't hook one up before myself yet. I thought about much the same. I have an even number of these and was thinking if I ran a Nismo 3 into 2 race header with twice pipes all the way back (without premuffler or anything in between header and Resonator) then each pipe could have it's own Resonator and the restriction would be relieved. Really wanting to use them with a RB26DETT Nissan Skyline GT-R engine swap, kickin 600 horsepower, and figured twice pipes with each pipe having it's own Res would work for that too :classic: Not to sure how loud it will sound with just straight pipes or even if I'll destroy the Resonator. Some say no premuffler is not good while others say they last for years with no problem I'm leaning towards the 2nd statement. What do you guys think on this setup? Never heard of ANSA though untill I found these and They look exactly like my DREAM muffler :classic: I only hope they sound like it too, A High Winding Fast pitched sound to go along with a High Winding Fast Reving enigine (somewhere around 8 to 10,000rpm's 11K redline sounds right) :rambo:  . ~Z~
