  1. Damn, good choice! Looks like the rims on my Johnny Lightning model Shelby Cobras Good look and desing overall. ~Z~
  2. Might interest someone to know a 1977 Zapp Z is for sale in the SF Bay Area on Craigslist. Not bad for $2900 US. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/1048518840.html
  3. PM sent Bro, not sure if am too late or not Hit me up on the phone if you need to. ~Z~
  4. Glad you like, I just put it in the Classifieds ! More pics of the Short Nose in comparison to a Long Nose twin stack ANSA. Judging by the Yellow Farrari sticker it started off to be a Slant Nose but some how ended up with a shortend lower pipe, munfacturing.... Either way in the last batch of ANSA's I got hold of all of them were Long Noses except for this one and is also the only Short Nose I ever came across or seen to date. So it will most likely be a great addition to a car show only Z for sure and / or a collectors item. But hey if some one choses to run it they'll get no complants from me on style points alone ~Z~
  5. Yeh that''ll work, but one pipe is 1 3/4 inlet but two pipes will work though for what you need. The other ones are sold out This is the on I talked about before next to the super rare short nose twin stack ANSA for comparison. The chrome on it is 1 inch shorter. ~Z~
  6. Don't have one with me now but off top of my head demensions are 26 inches long overall, 2 inch inlet with two 1 inch outlet holes, pipe diameter of the chrome section with the red tape ribbon back to the y-pipe is about 2.5 inches. I'll update the acuracy once I get home and measure. The closet thing I could find in length, as I had the same idea as you, is the Ferrari resonnator which last I checked where going in the $3,000 price range but comes with half the entire exhaust pipe set up. Bassicaly you'd be canibalizing an set up made for a specific car modle. Pretty much anything else that was close to these are discountined and the only two I got like what your describing are 2 seperate pipes with 2 inch inlets each with 1.5 inch outlets (I'll take photos of them for you all). Execellent though for V8 and Skyline engine conversions! Out of all the "unversal" ANSA's from the 70's to mid 80's these where the best ones as for as looks and exhaust diameter size goes, now NLA though. But if you've found a private stash then by all means brother go for it I'll keep checking my references and research to make sure I'm not missing nothing though. ~Z~
  7. Ok, I found your post. One has been sold and one left already so you know. Exhaust inlet diameter is 2 inches and is a direct bolt on installation to the stock hanger bracket lacations so no welding needed if going similar route with the piping locations. Twice pipes will have to converge to a single pipe or (cringe) you can slice off the Y-pipe on the ANSA and maybe get more power and a different sound out that case. Other than that I'm no exhaust theory expert by far a chance, but I don't see any problems with going from a 2.5 inch exhaust pipe to a 2 inch inlet resonator as pros and cons have been argured both ways But Zedy's set up speaks volume's for himself and my only advice is to run atleast some type of glasspack or inline set up like him to keep the ANSA from burning out prematurely and make it last longer. Which is what the complet factory kit had any way on the mid pipe. But as he said with out an inline then your going to most likely be way louder. Don't get me wrong, Borla sounds nice but you just don't get that same "vintage 70's race car" sound and I'm all about old school ova here. Not sure if they're repackable or not but some of the older fellas in the club may now more on that from experince. ~Z~
  8. 2 more for sale again in the classifieds today ! Go there for more pics and details, funding my artwork now ~Z~
  9. True that, I never did like those add on Airdams. It may may true they increase down force so don't get me wrong, but they do as you said completly throw off the intended style of the car as a sleek aerodynamic sports car. Infact I'm willing to bet those alos increase wind drag :ninja: Call me tommorow Zedy and I'll give you the number to my friend Jaun, he has a few Z's and may be willng to sell you a center piece and needed parts if you need them. I'll use my shipper to get 'em to you safe, same guys I ship the ANSA's with :beard: ~Z~
  10. Indeed, you be surpised what things turn up when searched like that Your up coming set up should be SiCCCC :classic: ~Z~
  11. 70's Monza pics. And this site has a "few" cool vintage race cars too. http://www.roadcarvin.com/taxonomy/term/461 ~Z~
  12. OK just a thought but if Thrush Muffler had a Factory Sponsored race car what would it be, a Chevy Vega or a Chevy Monza? Not Z related but I love the way things were made, built and styled in the hey day of sports cars and road racing like the Trans Am series and the SCCA. Looking for something to draw basicly that I thought would be cool, but like to use the Monza body style although the Vega front end looks better. I take that back, the Monza front end looks good too, must of saw one with the non slanted nose design first. Of course the car will be blue but I plan to draw 2 styles with different side markings to indicate 2 cars on the same race team back I the 1970's with the bird logo on the doors of one and the numbers being dominate on the doors of the 2nd car. Don't worry,.... I'll draw a Z later on. And I have just the Idea too ~Z~
  13. Your kidding,.... right.....? ? ? ?
  14. Request for these just keep pureing in. :classic: especialy from CANADA :rambo: BTW The last 3 were mailed off 2 days ago as of this post, My car was down for about a week and a half and couldn't make it to the shipper to mail and sorry for the delays to my last 3 buyers. Tracking Numdbs will be in in the morning for you all to verify ~Z~
  15. Very loco yes, but may I suggest a vintage Tricylce Something with Blue maybe.. Vey interesting to see what you come up with next to say the lest though, and the related stories ~Z~
  16. Yep thats the one you need Mike Remember, PICS AND SOUND CLIPS Will work on 240Z and maybe early 260Z stock exhaust diameter. It will be too small on late 260Z and 280Z as they used a slightly different mid pipe but with the same bends and angles, (just a bigger pipe with stock 2 inch diameter). Both are complet bolt on sets with a Header, down pipe, mid pipe (which is what Mike B has found) and either a Twin Stack or dual tip side by side resonator exhaust tip completing the set as the fourth piece. So it's a 4 piece set listed in order from front to back. Clive, if you come across that Header we must talk ~Z~
  17. Very Welcome Br0 Acording to the tracking number info it was in town at least a week ago, don't you just love international customs ? Well acording to my records I have sold, all together now, about 19 ANSA's around the world. And by my best estimations there are another 12 to 16 + from another stash that was found out there as wells, which is where I got my 1st ANSA from which is the famous one we all know from this pic here And actually the 1st one I ever opened when my eyes poped and my jaw drop So altogeher there are about 40 to 50+ (60 at maybe most) known NOS ANSA's out there in th e world today and I'm willing to bet half of those are not even bolted up and still with they're new owners. Of all the places I mailed to Japan is not one of them from me, then again it is an Italian exhaust made in Itali , but Quezon City, Phillipines has at least one! ~Z~
  18. All tottally true , Even I want the SHAMWOW Glad to here it works BTW all sold out of ANSA's now, for those members who asked but didn't get one I'll let you all know when I'm able to find some more. ~Z~
