word of advice , be sure you use orginal Nissan parts and not the ones from Black Dragon. I recently restored my 77 and used the seals from Black Dragon. They are much thicker than the originals and now the rear hatch does not close flush with the side panels.

Guys - thanks for the help. The molding kit I purchased is an aftermarket, so far with the exception of the trunk kit everything else fits well.

Can anyone give me advise on installing the molding around the rear hatch. I just brought my 77 Z home from the bodyshop and am in the process of installing all new rubber molding. I installed the inner and out rear hatch molding with all new rubber. Now the hatch door will not close all the way down flush with the side panels. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
