hot lead burnt 240z
The W wire comes from the starter and it goes to a fusible link and then to the Ammeter and in to the fuse box, and the WR wire comes from the Alternator, I think you should check the fusible links, this diagram might help, there are good electrical people here that might give you better help, they had help me with a lot of issues (because i am rewiring my Z from scratch) So good luck...

regarding the question about the VR no it is not the VR, it is the ACC's relay, The Voltage regulator is located in the right fender.

Electrical Problems (or Not Yet)
The clock, dash lights and step light are wire togheter trough a RL (Red/Blue) wire, (it changes its colos for diferent instruments, clock for example changes to blue), and it goes to the fuse box, perhaps you should check continuity and verify that you are getting voltaje on this wire before you unplug anything.

You could try switching back to points, if she still doesn't starts then the problem is not the pertronix, it could be the distributor cap

T/S switch
This is the diagram I have for the T/S switch, as you can see it seems like if the switch is out of the combo switch, so I was wondering if this could be a Flasher, i read in one of your post that this cars used 2 flashers, one for the T/S and one for the Hazard

Testing Gauges
I just measure at the VR and i get 13.9 Volts to the gauge, and i also measure the resistance from the temp sensor and i get around 200 ohms and it decreases at time pases by, but i dont get a reading at the gauge, I am going to open it and clean it

Testing Gauges
I just ground the but i am not getting any lecture from it, do you know what is the voltaje I should get from the VR...
-
Testing Gauges
So, if i ground the sensor wire, i should read maximum?
-
Testing Gauges
Thanks E, regarding the power it feeds through the VR, and it just goes directly to the oil and temp sensors.

Thank you guys, I will try it, what if when i ground them they wont read? does that mean that I will need a new gauge?
