I placed an order for my wheels 3 days ago and it was for the Work Equip 01. Here are the specs: (F): 15 x 8 / -3 offset ®: 15 x 9 / -3 offset I was going to stick with the "0" offset but Work no longer offer these wheels at zero offset. ^Yup. I've decided on that already. He crashed it and I still searched for the parts, paid for them, and did the labor. Never again! I've learned my lesson. Well, my Uncle who bought my other Z came by the shop today because he was having problems shifting. It turned out that the clutch slave cylinder is giving out and needs to be replaced. I took a picture of the car while he was there. 'Hope you like it. The day I purchased this car, it took me at least 5 hours to get her running before I was able to drive her home. That day, I decided to stop by a family party and when I got there...my Uncle wrote a check ($OLD!). I'll try to take some pictures of the 240Z tomorrow and I might also pick up the other 280Z that I left parked at my cousin's house (picture of that car below).

I will try to post pics this weekend. I've been really busy at the shop lately. One good thing I found out from the previous owner was that he had already replaced the ball-joints, inner/outer tie-rods, transmission mount, and the differential mount. However, the Z "clunk" noise is still there when I shift sometimes. He told me that the shop who used to work on his car replaced the differential to an R-200 but not the one from the Z. I don't know if it makes a difference but he also mentioned that he felt that the car got slower. So, when I put the original 4-speed tranny, I should also go back to the original R-180 for proper ratio. Is this correct? Now, I just need to source it out (another bump on the road).

I finally have the time and the funds to fix her up. It's a yellow 1971 240Z that's mostly stock with the exception of the suspension. I've had the pleasure of driving three 280Z's before the 240Z crossed my path. The 1st one was totaled when my Dad was driving it then. I sold the 2nd one to my Uncle, which is currently being restored. I still have the 3rd one but it will be up for sale soon. I purchased the 240Z from my parts guy for $2,500 about 2 years ago. The condition was great until my brother hit a guard-rail on the freeway. It damaged the front passenger fender and scratched the whole passenger side. It also bent the front passenger strut housing. Luckily, Mike's Z Shop in Whittier, CA had the parts I needed to fix the problem. I was also able to find both front fenders at a local junkyard that are in better condition (no rust). I'm just waiting for the suspension bushing kit to arrive before I replace the ball-joints and the inner/outer tie-rods along with it. I'm also putting the original 4-speed tranny because the first gear pops out on the 5-speed rebuilt tranny it has. I ordered a set of wheels today (Work Equip 01) and should arrive in about 3 months. Sorry for the long introduction. I'm just really excited because my Z will no longer be neglected.
