- In-Car Entertainment I made speaker kick panels by taking the existing boards out and copying the pattern to some masonite. I located the speaker whole in front of the space that allows access to the inner door hinge bolts so that the speaker would not protrude too far out. I made a couple speakers rings and fiberglassed over the boards and speaker rings. Used a little filler to fix any imperfections and then covered in 1/4" headliner foam and black vinyl from the fabric store. I think they came out looking semi factory.
