Posted November 28, 200321 yr comment_58757 I watched a show on Speedvision last night about a ~1957 speed records set by a MG at the Bonneville Salt Flats. At the end of the show the guy was talking about all the cool MGs, Triumphs,... of the area. Then he mentioned that the introduction of the 240Z in 1970, and all its attributes (power, quality, styling, etc) marked the end of the British sports car era. I thought that was pretty cool.
