280 to 240

Featured Replies

my question is this, how hard is it to take the engine and fuel system out of a 76 280z and put it into a 240z...generaly speaking, I don't know if it will be worth the trouble or not, but I'd like the have the EFI with out the DEQ if you know what I mean.

From my understanding.....the motor will just bolt in.

Using the same motor mounts and existing tranny.

You might also have to put in the correct electric fuel pump.

Don't forget all the computer stuff and associated modifications to the wiring harness. It can be (and has been) done so it will not be a problem. Just make sure you have a donor vehicle so you are sure to get all the parts needed.
