Plastic wheel center cap

Featured Replies

I developed a crack in one of my wheel center caps a couple of years ago and it needs refinishing again. Any suggestions on how to refinish the plastic face?

Hmmm...it looks like this would be its second repair.

What kind of wheel is it from? You might be able to trackdown a replacement.

If you can't find a replacement, I would clean out what's in there now and apply some good epoxy putty, sand and repaint it.

If you're good with sheetmetal, cut a rould piece out that would fit the inner diameter on the silver circle. Then, bond it to the plastic cap with some JB Weld, and paint.

Thanks for the suggestion- I'll try that. Here is a photo of the wheel - It's a 15x7 Keystone Dyna Lite in a 3 piece design. Can't find them anywhere much less the centre cap!
