Posted July 10, 200321 yr comment_43418 Why is it that we never hear about ---I was cleaning the connectors on my 30 + year old wiring harness------We hear--- this doesn't work --.If you can touch a factory connector ,unplug it in and out again and again, shine is fine. The wire won't fail it will be at a connection point. How many times have you overlooked the opportunity during a rebuild? December 22, 200321 yr comment_61598 That's fine for the few who have been lucky. Most 70+% of the connectors on my Z's that I have had problems with, have all been crisp from heat(electrical), melted half off, or melted to each other. When your doing something at a connector, it is always rule of thumb to spray some CRC of the likes in the terminals. But that is not the answer to the root problem.:devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6962-the-answer-to-that-electrical-problem/#findComment-61598 Share on other sites
