If you were rebuilding the engine in a '78 280z (for street use), what would your list of should do's and don't bother with include?

Would headers be in order- an upgraded cam kit (does that affect the distributer)- computer changes- changes to the EFI?

Any advice, tips, help, or redirection within the club would be greatly appreciated and welcomed- new to the club

With the L28 I am building I am porting the head, fitting a mild cam, looking at pistons/gaskets for ideal compression, upgrading injectors, fuel pump and fitting a larger 65mm throttle body.
