Posted May 27, 200321 yr comment_38941 I looked through the archives and couldn't find any info on this. What temperatures are acceptable to have por-15 cure at? I might put off doing the underside painting until I have some time off this December. It doesn't usually get down to freezing in Dallas that early, but usually 40s-50s during the day. Will this be too cold to paint without heating up the garage some?Andrew Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6348-por-15-cure-temperature/ Share on other sites
May 27, 200321 yr comment_38948 Temps in the 40-50 range is WAY too cold for POR'ing. My POR rep reccommended 75 degrees+, but I suspect that 70+ would be acceptable too. Basically, you need some humidity AND warm weather for successful POR15 application. I would not advise waiting till December given the tempuratures that you mentioned.
