Progress.  You can either fight it or sit back and enjoy it.  Big changes are coming in personal transportation, just as they did about 120 years ago when automobiles began to replace horses.  I can imagine my great-great-grandfather Chapman, a Civil War veteran, saying something like, "Automobiles, they'll never catch on, who needs them?  I'll keep my horses and when I need a new one, I'll breed one.  You can't breed automobiles!"

Fortunately, horses are still around to enjoy.  Just like our manually operated and maintained Zs will be in 50-100 years.

Like it or not, we're all going to live in the future.
