Hi,  I'm a 370z driver, used to drive a TT 300zx and have had my eyes on 240s for a while now.   I want to buy a car to export to my pad in France.   Does anyone know the laws?  Can I take a modified car, or do I need to keep it bog standard?

I'm aware that I will probably have to prove 1 yr ownership in the U.S. before I can export my personal vehicle to Europe?

I lived there last 4 years in the Biarritz area... will be going back in a year or so and would like to start looking at getting into a car now that I can export as a personal vehicle.  thanks.
