Posted June 1, 20177 yr comment_522121 Are the MSA 3 point retractable seat belts considered a perfect bolt in replacement for my original and worn seat belts used on my 1972 240z? Once i install these seat belts will i still be able to use the receiver of the original seat belt? Still trying to figure out how to actívate the seat belt light on the dashboard! June 1, 20177 yr comment_522122 No, you need to replace the belt & the receiver with the MSA kit. I recently sold my set because the receiver flopped around & was quite a pain to use! Here are some pictures of what I installed with the MSA kit: http://jarvas240z.blogspot.com/2013/08/seatbelt-upgrade.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57838-msa-3-point-retractable-seat-belts/#findComment-522122 Share on other sites
June 3, 20177 yr Author comment_522254 is this the Wesco or the MSA kit??? If i replace the original seat belts will i still be able to mantain the fasten seatbelt feature? I dont see that it the MSA KIT or Wesco has any circuit to actívate the red light. June 3, 20177 yr comment_522261 They're one in the same. Msa gets it from Wesco. No the factory seatbelt warning system only works with the original seat belts unless you design & build your own way to hook it up.Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57838-msa-3-point-retractable-seat-belts/#findComment-522261 Share on other sites
