Posted March 7, 200322 yr comment_28968 We have a MD Z Club here but those guys are too advanced for me right now. I'm at the beginning stage of my Z. I had a 77 in 89 but I was young & didn't know what I REALLY had then. I bought this one last summer & I hope to get it ready by the end of March. I runs but I didn't want to rush it. What do you mean that MDZCLUB is too advanced for you? What are you looking for? Maybe we could give you a hand. March 10, 200322 yr Author comment_29238 I've always loved early model Z's & after another one last summer, I was looking to fix it up. After doing my research & studies, I found that thousands of $$$$ can go into getting my Z like the guys in the Z clubs. That's what I meant by "Too Advanced". I'm only looking to replace things that need replacing & having my Z look presentable. I'm trying to get ahold of a digital camera so I can post a few pics. A scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I'll give my Z a 5 right now. I haven't done anything to it yest except replacing a few parts & interior cosmetics. Rust isn't to bad from what I can see. The floors are still in fair condition. The body is in good condition. I'm having probs right now with getting it to crank. It will after a few turns of the key. Sometimes it will crank & other times I will have to keep turning the key several times. It has a new battery, cables & starter....I'll keep working at it until I get it to crank on the first turn of the key.....
