I was in a group of cars with similar power and experience level drivers.

The z car club of colorado holds track events twice a year at HPR. This is the first one for the year. We don't race and has limited passing. It's a lot of fun then you get a group of cars together and take turns leading.

You have the hood cracked for more airflow/cooling?

I don't think it helped much, but couldn't hurt.
