OK I rebuilt the front end of my 78 280z and all went great but after a week or so had a bad nose in the front end when backing up. So look under the car and one of the front tension rod was loose and lost the nut and washers. My bad for not tying the nut up. Any one got one off a parts car?

When you do get your replacement parts, be sure to check if you should be double-nutting. That is the stock setup on my car because it is virtually impossible to lock up a single nut when compressing rubber or even poly bushings.

Yes that what I've done now. I'm just using a big washer for now. But want to get a stock one back on the car.

Have not had to get replacement part car only has 23k on it
