Substitute for a failed nylon adjuster nut

Here is the working one(covered in etching primer):

As the screw turns the light casing moves. Lithium grease helps lube the plastic. I never chased the threads yet.

Solution: Ace Hardware SAE nutsert and am M6 1.0mm tap.
