Posted September 22, 201113 yr comment_367066 Sorry not sure if this has been already posted but could not find anything specific on it. I should start from the begining, I had the issue with the fuse block melting to a point on the headlight fuse. So bought a new fuse block off zstore and threw that in, all was well and good till i connected the battery and it blew the instrument/dome light fuse. While troubleshooting I disconnected the 2 wires that are on the side of the ignition switch and tried again, no blown fuse, everything works fine, so am curious what do these wires do, and are they important. Any feedback y'all could give me would be greatly appreciated. September 22, 201113 yr comment_367069 They activate the key-in-the-ignition buzzer, which is also connected to the driver's side door jam switch. Sound's like you have a short circuit there.
