I got in my car yesterday closed the the door, and now it won't open. Sealed tight, won't open from the inside or out. Doesn't seem like either handle is disconnected either. Anyone help me. I tried holding the handle and forcing it open with no luck. There hasn't been a problem with it sticking before. Any ideas for me?

Is the window up or down? Is the door panel on or off? take the outter trim off.. there should be enough room to stick a long screwdriver in there and try to open it..

Door panel on , window can be either up or down, I have it down now.

What year and model? The door latch mechanisms are different from year to year.

It's a 1977 sorry
