On my 72 240Z, I'm installing an R200 diff from an 82 ZX. Will the hardware (mustache bar, etc) needed from a 280Z work from a 77 auto since it has an R180? Thanks!

you need a mustache bar from a 280z that had an r-200.

If your R200 did not come with the mounting nuts/washers - you'll need them too. The R200 has larger mounting studs - so your R180 nuts/washers will not transfer. The washers and lock washers are important - as is the correct torque on the mounting nuts.

Thanks, Carl...I'm going back to pull the diff out of the car so I'll be sure to get the hardware. Is there anything else I should get off the car for the swap? This is the same car I got my 5 speed from.
