has any one tried fitting a late model console ('77), into a earlier model 240K ('73), they look different, but I dont kow if the screw points are the same.

my earlier one is missing the boot and bracket to hold it in, and the later one bracket will not fit.

Umm i fit a sedan one in the coupe without a problem, but it may have been 75 - 75

Yes they are different, mount differently on front set of brackets and from memory one console sits higher than the other so either won't fit/ugly gap.

I tried putting a 77 sedan one into my 74 coupe - no go.

they have different brackets locations, modification distore the interior
