tokico strut and spring question

Featured Replies

I recently installed a kit from tokico including struts and 1" lowering springs on my 77 280z. when the car is on the ground the ride height looks fine and all seems to be well. however when installing the springs I did not need to compress the springs infact the spring is is moveable with the wheels in the air. is this normal? this might be a dumb question but this is the first time I've lowered a car and I'm just looking for confirmation that I'm not screwing something up.

Yes, this is normal, and is mentioned in all the other tokico spring/strut related threads. Check it out, search for tokico.

Search search the wonderful thing, the more you search the more you'll sing. Find the things you're looking for, and we'll welcome you back to learn some more.......

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :stupid:
