I was lubing the latch and the hinges on my 240z and, somehow, the latch on the passenger door spun around and the door will not close. The rubber piece is supposed to be facing towards the ground and the silver hump is supposed to be horizontal. Instead, the rubber piece is horizontal and the silver hump is facing upwards. Does anyone know how I can turn it back?

Yeah, but that didn't do anything. I somehow managed to pop it back in place and the door closes fine now. I have no idea what the hell happened and I hope it doesn't happen again.

I don't know what you did but I can tell you that 2 screws are lose and 2 screws are missing. Fix those first then worry about fixing the rest.

Dave.
