Posted September 7, 200816 yr comment_259583 I pulled the fenders off the 73 and found a hole where the bottom bolt was supposed to hold the fender to the body.(see 2nd pic in photoshop)I expected this as I knew there was a problem in this area when I looked at the car. Is there a replacement panel I can weld in here? Same on both sides.I did a search in several locations that cover the rocker panel but I think this is the area in front of the rocker. Anyone with any experience in this situation? Thanks, Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29313-bottom-of-fender-bolt-threads-to-what/ Share on other sites
September 7, 200816 yr comment_259594 You will want to replace the rocker panels. There are nuts welded into the forward end of the rocker that the where fender attaches.See link:http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3469 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29313-bottom-of-fender-bolt-threads-to-what/#findComment-259594 Share on other sites
