We had a small gathering of z cars today in Ft Collins.

SSuspect(Tim), picked up 240zman(Daniel) and me along the way in his way up to Ft Collins. We met with kenz240z(Ken), Pop's Z(Mike), and boulderz(Dave-zdriver) in Ft collins.

Ken, Mike and Dave have great z car examples, 2 240z and a 280z black pearl. I can only dream that I can be as meticulous with my cars.

Unfortunatley the donor 280zx wasn't as described and had a very loud knock at idle and wasn't a good candidate for the swap into Tims' newly aquired 240z.

If the others see this they will have a few pics for posting.

Even though the ZX "donor car" turned out to be a complete RAT, the little gathering turned out to be a blast! Can't wait to do it again! Thanks for the great company guys.

Here are a few pics of Dave, Mike and Ken's cars. Seeing these cars REALLY makes me want to get mine on the road! They were beautiful!

It was great to get together with you guys yesterday. I had a terrific time. I don't know if you noticed, but there were a lot of double-takes from the people driving by. You don't get to see that many old Zcars in one place too often. That being said I've posted a thread on the Fort Collins Old Town car show. Come one, come all. Can you imagine the look on people's faces when we show up with MANY Zs? Whooee!

Sorry I couldn't make it. Looks like I missed out. My '71 would have looked pretty sad next to yours though - it really needs a paint job! I'm looking forward to the next time around, hopefully I can make that one.

I did not pick him up because of his leg! It was the 6 pack of Laughing Lab Scottish Ale that he was holding that did it!

Don't feel bad thunderz - at least it looks like your car runs! That is more than I can say at this point! However, new developments are in the making. May have an update soon!
