Posted January 19, 200817 yr comment_234729 I hate taking the Z out in the rain, but it's a necessary situation because she's my DD. So I'm of course worried about rust.Well, I don't have the means to improve protection on the undercarriage with POR-15 or undercoat (although that is on the list for the summer).I've found one thing that gives me a bit more peace of mind. Ever seen those commercials for "Zorbeez"? Well my girlfriend picked up an "ABSORBER" cloth at Fred Meyer recently cuz she thought I'd like it for the Z.Let me tell you, this thing is amazing! One 12"x20"x.125" cloth (about) dried the entire exterior of the car. So now that she's back under cover, she doesn't have to sit there wet, and I didn't have to purchase and launder a bunch of shop rags.Just thought those of us who have to take 'em out in the rain, but bring them back indoors afterward would appreciate knowing that these things really work.
