Anyone know what the E30 is off of? That is what was on my Z. I had thought it was a 72 since that was the car that I got it from, but I guess they had switched it at some point in time. Did the early 280's with the square exhaust ports have smog pumps?

Will an early 280Z manifold work with carbs on a 240 (e88 head)? Would that be a workable way to get away from the airpump rail?

N47 heads have round exhaust ports. The rest have square exhaust ports. You can use a squared exhaust manifold on a round head like the N47 but you can not use a round exahaust manifold for a square exhaust ported head. I would use the E-30 manifold instead of an exhaust manifold from a 280Z. Just block off the airpump rail. The E-30 is smaller and looks better.
