Posted August 5, 200222 yr comment_11993 I am a new owner to the Z car ranks. I've loved these cars since i was 7 years old. I remember seeing my first one in late 1969 as i was playing in my yard. I vowed one day i'd have one. Then there was the army, overseas tour after tour, marriage, kids...blah blah, so anyway i retire soon, and finally i got one!!! a shiney red 1972 240z for $2,000 bucks. I'll try to figure how to post a pic of it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2504-i-love-this-site-check-out-my-ride/ Share on other sites
August 5, 200222 yr comment_11997 Hi ZcarsRock:Great set of wheels you have there. Looks like you scored a bargain at that price. Your story sounds a lot like mine. I always admired the 240Z, but after raising a family, spending quite some time in the navy and finally getting my finances in some sort of order...hmmm... maybe disorder, I also now have finally got the car I have been after for some time; and just love it.:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2504-i-love-this-site-check-out-my-ride/#findComment-11997 Share on other sites

August 14, 200222 yr Author comment_12864 Thanks for the comments. I love the z, mine is just something to keep me occupied till i get my new 350z when i return from Bosina next year. Wonder if you have any need for an old original 72 steering wheel and shifter nob:)Tony Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2504-i-love-this-site-check-out-my-ride/#findComment-12864 Share on other sites
