Posted July 16, 200717 yr comment_215231 I'm reconditioning the rear window louvers on my '77 and was wondering if anyone knows a good source for replacement weatherstripping for it. I don't expect to find the exact weatherstrip for it but something close I can modify to work. Any suggestions? July 16, 200717 yr comment_215253 Hey Bob I assume it is only to reduce protect glass or stop rattle - I used household strip, it comes in different colours, thickness', widths and densities. worked fine for me and got it at the hardware store ($2). By the way the light type worked well for all the connections in the ventilation system - I assume in any stock Z that stuff is powder. July 17, 200717 yr Author comment_215376 The weatherstripping keeps the louvers from rattling against the body. Thanks for the suggestion--I'll see what our hardware stores have. Nice orange '77!
