a couple of forums are tryin to setup a meet/bbq sometime in the near future

around San Diego heres a link to the original thread. were hopin to get a somewhat big meet just intended for imports 80s and older.

Two questions. What does this have to do with Group Z since it's posted under that heading? And since the link you posted is CCC, will this be a Toyota thing or classic imports in general?

stephen, i registered over at CCC and apparently all classic japanese cars are welcome. i think it ought to be fun! :D

just imports in general and the reason its posted under here is because i was lookin for a relatively so cal forum where i could post a meet for so cal.

Jason, since you are registered, suggest Doheny Beach to them. It's good for a BBQ That's Spilt in distance for the LA and SD people. Looks to me like they haven't settled on a spot yet, so this might be a good time to try for Doheny! I'll come for sure (got a place in my heart for 1st gen Celicas)

Where: Doheney beach in dana point, ca

when: sunday july 29th, 2007

who: old school wanted, but open to all

bring: food to grill or something for potluck (premade) and/or money for raffle entry (if enough people show- cash reward of 10 dollars or more depending, all other proceeds will go to an account for future events or to IMG to hold events).

and dont forget lawn chairs.

if this is big enough we can have it annually, which is what im hoping to accomplish.

dont bring:Drama, crap talking, showboating/racing/burnouts, disrespect

so who from the south (san diego) is planning on going? i'm leaving SD ~8:30 and was wondering if anyone wanted to caravan.
