oky so i replaced my points and condenser and rotor and distruburator cap and i started it...and when it runs it back fires like crazy and then it dies out....i know im runing rich but i cant time it so what can i do?

Are you sure you wired the cap back up correctly. Here's a pic with the correct order courtesy of the Atlantic Z Car club

You can also retard and enrichen the timing by turning the cap clockwise or counterclock wise. That is how I got mine ear timed till I could use my timing light. Why can't you time it?
