not exactly sure but if you look at the pics that top lip looks like it goes on the out side of the bucket like the side valance would, but doesnt cover the entire area, any one with a close of pic of one mounted, this one came from Black Dragon and is going on a 77!

It goes underneath the bucket on my car, sorry the bumper conceals it on my 73.

Would recommend a bracket to support it, since it will sag over time especially with high speed driving.
