Car ran for about 50 miles then the tach jumped around and the car died will not restart. Put a rebuilt 79 electronic distributor in with a new E-1280 module. Wirring is correct. I even went as far as to energize the coil with 12 volts from the battery still no spark? Curious as to the relay on the firewall? Should i have to do anything with that doing this conversion? Car is a 73 240Z.

The other thread where we answered and said it was the module wasn't good enough for you? Fine. I think it's the module. Now you don't have to refer to the other thread.
