Anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1972 OEM radio?

Featured Replies

I bought an OEM radio and I want to swap it back into my '72 to replace the broken 1970's Pioneer that was in there.

I just want to make sure I don't put the power wire to the speaker... :)

Or if anyone knows what color is what. Even my '72 FSM doesn't say exactly what color wire does what...

I looked and looked at that diagram and I just don't see the radio. Is it just me?

My 1972 Datsun 240Z (build date 10/71) has the following wires and destinations:

Black w/rca plug= Antenna

Red/blue wire= dial light

Blue/fuzed = Power into (3 connector)

gray= speaker

blue/gray= speaker

Antenna switch= 3 wires into T connector. solid blue at top of "T", blue w/red stripe left side of "T", blue w/white stripe to right side of "T".

Hope this helps. If you need more info pm me....
